b Listen to Doyle selections (or try out reversing the order of reading and listening)  (to be uploaded by Monday am)

c. Post your observations to the Doyle discussion.

d. Read Alice Walker "Everyday Use" (on electronic reserves) Assignment

e. Using worksheet 4.2, analyze this story.

f. Post your understandings to the Walker Literature Blog.

4.3 Studying Intentions and Purposes in Your Own Data

Agenda:

a. Analyze the transcript of the conversation you recorded using worksheet 4.3.  (See also L&L p. 283.)

b. Post your understandings to your research journal
