Preparing for workshop

Due Wednesday: Letters to your workshop peers!

In class, we determined the letters should be less than or equal to a page long, typed.

We also determined that there were two good ways to focus our letters:

We can interrogate the poem, leaving like/dislike out, guided by the questions on xxvii in Burroway OR

We can say what we like/dislike, what works/doesn't work, as long as we are detailed and specific about why.

Also, the writer would like you to describe your reaction upon reading it.

Also, the writer would like you to tell them what you think the poem conveys.
