Welcome to the Fall 2006 semester of Reading and Writing Poetry. I'll be using this space to make announcements to the class, list local poetry readings, answer frequently asked questions, and otherwise keep you posted on additions to the site.

12/11:  Our last class includes final evaluations and the final workshop. For those of you able to join my E211 class on 12/13 beginning 4:00, we'll be holding a student poetry reading in the campus bookstore, coffee and cookies included.

Rules for final workshop"lightning round":  Each of you should print the poems posted as "Workshop 2." Write one thing you'd like to say about the poem on the worksheet. We'll go around the room and each of us will give our one comment for every poem by every class member. Yasuhito's in charge of snacks.

As of Saturday morning, 12/9, only one Workshop 2 post is up--please post ASAP.

.
